MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

Last fall I was awed by the way this community rallied to help students with back-to-school needs. Palettes of school supplies were packed by volunteers into hundreds of backpacks so that students had what they needed on opening day. Local organizations provided clothing and shoes.

This season I am awed by the way this district's adults and students are giving back to the community. Each school and each department has raised money, gathered food, collected clothing, volunteered time and acted in the spirit of the season in dozens of other ways.

You are truly an inspiration – to the students you work with each day and to me. My wife, Sue, and I are joyful and grateful for the opportunity to live and work in this community and this district.

Have a very safe and restful holiday season. Thanks for what you do in every season and for the difference you make – one child at a time.

Happy holidays,

Gary
