Woodside Cafeteria Rules
Woodside cafeteria rules are established to provide a calm and friendly atmosphere
where students can socialize with friends and enjoy their lunch. All students are
expected to know and follow all the cafeteria rules.
1. Use the restroom before or after eating lunch. Restroom breaks should be
taken before students leave the lunchroom . Students are to use the restrooms
between the cafeteria and the gym.
2. Be polite and courteous .
3. WALK at all times.
4. Be responsible for keeping the cafeteria a clean and healthy place to be.
5. Follow directions on the first request . Raise your hand if you need help and
wait until a supervisor can respond to you.
6. Show respect for others. Use appropriate table manners. Use a quiet voice.
Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
7. Tell the cook y our first and last name and have your money ready. Please
unfold the bills. Students who do not have money ready for the cashier will be
asked to stand to the side until all other students have passed through the line.
8. Know what it is y ou ordered for lunch BEFORE going to the lunchroom.
9. When it is announced that it is time to buy ice cream, go get in line and buy
it Once the line has disappeared, no more ice cream will be sold.
10. Get in line with your class. Students who are not in line with their class will be
asked to stand aside until the current cl ass has been served. (For example, a
student from Mrs. Haller�s class is late. Mrs. Litzkow�s class is being served.
Mrs. Haller�s student will have to wait until Mrs. Litzkow�s students have all been
served before he or she can be served.)
11. Students who pay for lunches wi th checks are to take these checks IN
PERSON to the kitchen. This was the proper student is credited for lunch.
12. Stack trays properly at y our assigned station (A or B). Take the time to
make sure that they are not placed in wobbly towers. Please don�t throw the
trays on the stack of trays
13. Put silverwa re in the proper place. Please don�t throw them in the garbage.
Consequences for not following Cafeteria Rules:
Revised 08/05
1. Time out in lunchroom/clean up in lunchroom.
2. Move to another seat or table.
3. Miss recess to write cafeteria rules.
4. Removal from the lunchroom for a reasonable period of time.
