Special Board Meeting

The Board of Directors of Everett School District No. 2, Snohomish County, Washington, held a special Board meeting on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at 10:30 a.m., in the Board Room of the Educational Service Center, 4730 Colby Avenue, Everett, Washington. Board members in attendance were Carol Andrews, Kristie Dutton, Karen Madsen and Ed Petersen. Absent: Sue Cooper.

BOARD ACTION AND/OR BOARD DISCUSSION

The purpose of the special meeting was to hold an executive session to:

review the performance of public employees;
discuss with legal counsel representing the agency potential litigation where public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency.

President Madsen called the special meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. and immediately moved into executive session. Before moving into executive session, it was announced the executive session would be of approximately 90 minutes’ duration.

President Madsen reconvened the special meeting at noon and adjourned immediately.
