      a.   Presentation—District Athletic Program

        The Administration will provide an update on the athletics, activities, health and fitness   K-12 programs in Everett Public Schools (ATTACHMENT). Information will be  provided on student participation, student achievements, and program development in   athletics and activities. Robert Polk, Director of Athletics, Activities and Health and   Fitness for the District, will also provide a progress report on the recent development of   the health and fitness curriculum work being undertaken by his department.

        1. Approval of Amendment #5 to the License Agreement Between the Everett School District and Famiglia II LLC for Use of Everett Memorial Stadium

        The Administration recommends the Board of Directors approve Amendment #5 to the license agreement between the Everett School District and Famiglia II LLC for the use of Everett Memorial Stadium (ATTACHMENT). The current agreement for use of the baseball facilities at Everett Memorial Stadium by the Everett AquaSox baseball team specifies that beer is the only alcoholic beverage that can be sold on the premises. This amendment, requested by the baseball team owners, would allow wine to be sold under the same conditions that beer sales are currently allowed.

        c.   Approval of Educational Specifications for Jefferson Elementary School Modernization

        The Administration recommends the Board of Directors approve the educational specifications for the Jefferson Elementary School modernization (ATTACHMENT). These educational specifications were prepared by Dykeman Architects and District staff. A committee was formed composed of Jefferson Elementary School and other District staff to assist in the creation of these educational specifications. The attached document will be used by Hutteball and Oremus Architects in designing the Jefferson Elementary School modernization project. Approval of the educational specifications is part of the process to establish eligibility for state matching funds. 

         

         
        d.   Approval of Educational Specifications for Whittier Elementary School Modernization

        The Administration recommends the Board of Directors approve the educational specifications for the Whittier Elementary School modernization (ATTACHMENT). These educational specifications were prepared by Dykeman Architects and District staff. A committee was formed composed of Whittier Elementary School and other District staff to assist in the creation of these educational specifications. The attached document will be used by Klappenbach Architects in designing the Whittier Elementary School modernization project. Approval of the educational specifications is part of the process to establish eligibility for state matching funds.
