Special Board Meeting
The Board of Directors of Everett School District No. 2, Snohomish County, Washington, held a special Board meeting on Thursday, February 19, 2009, at 8 a.m., in the Ken Schilaty Learning Center at Housing Hope, 5908 Evergreen Way, Everett, Washington. Board members in attendance were Carol Andrews, Sue Cooper, Kristie Dutton, Karen Madsen and Ed Petersen.
BOARD ACTION AND/OR BOARD DISCUSSION
The purpose of the special meeting was to hold an executive session for the Board to review the qualifications of an applicant for public employment.
President Cooper called the meeting to order at 8 a.m. and immediately recessed into executive session to review the qualifications of an applicant for public employment. Before going into executive session, President Cooper announced the executive session would be of approximately two hours’ duration.
President Cooper reconvened the special meeting at 10 a.m. and recessed immediately until 1:30 p.m.
At 1:30 p.m., President Cooper reconvened the special meeting and recessed immediately into executive session to review the qualifications of an applicant for public employment. Before going into executive session, President Cooper announced the executive session would be of approximately four hours’ duration.
President Cooper reconvened the special meeting at 5:30 p.m. and adjourned immediately.
