Washington State History in 7th Grade
Beginning with the 2006/2007 school year, 7th grade students attending Everett Public Schools will be learning about Washington State History as part of their history class. Completing Washington State History successfully will allow a 7th grade student to fulfill this high school graduation requirement. Fulfilling this requirement now will give students more flexibility in their future high school class schedules. It is important to understand, however, that while students have this opportunity to fulfill a graduation requirement, students will not be earning high school credit in this class. If a student does not successfully meet the objectives of the 7th grade Washington State History class, that student will still be able to fulfill the Washington State History graduation requirement by enrolling in the more rigorous high school Washington State History class during their high school career.
