Interest Profiler

“The Interest Profiler helps you find out what your interests are and how they relate to the world of work.”

1. Go to www.wois.org and Log on with your Site Key.

2. Log in with your User ID and Password

3. Click Log in

4. Click on “Assessments” on the left navigation panel.

Click on “Interest Profiler.”

6. Click “Start the Interest Profiler.”

7. When you are finished responding to all the statements, Click on “Go to Next Page.” If you have missed answering any of the questions, the page will appear with unanswered selections marked in red. Respond to those statements and Click on “Go to Next Page.”

8. When you finish answering the questions on all 5 pages, type your name in the box, then click on “Finish.”

7. Save the results of the Interest Profiler to your Portfolio by clicking Save to My Portfolio.

8. Enter the Portfolio User ID and Password that you created for your Portfolio log in.

9. Click “Login.” Your Interest Profiler was successfully saved in the Assessments/Tests section of your WOIS Portfolio.

10. Click on “Return to Interest Profiler.”

11. Find your highest score under “Your Score.”

12. Click on the related careers to the right of the highest score under “Related WOIS Careers.”

13. Click on an occupation that interests you. If you don’t find one you are interested in, click on “Back to Results” and click on related careers to the right of the next highest score.

14. Click on an occupation that interests you and you may print it out. While looking at the occupation, you may also click “Add to Portfolio” to save the occupation in your WOIS Portfolio.
