5 | 1 | Students must follow the bus driver's instructions. |
6 | 2 | Students must ride their regularly assigned bus to and from the assigned bus stop location at all times unless permission to ride a different bus has been granted and student has a school issued bus pass. |
7 | 3 | Students must arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes before the designated pick up time. Be respectful of private property while at the bus stop and never stand in the street. Never run after the bus. |
8 | 4 | Students must board/exit the bus in an orderly manner. |
9 | 5 | Students must cross the roadway in front of the bus only when instructed by driver to cross. |
10 | 6 | Always remain seated, facing forward with seatbelt buckled, feet on floor and hands to self. |
11 | 7 | Students must sit in their assigned seat daily. |
12 | 8 | Keep all body parts inside of the bus. Keep all items out of the aisle. |
13 | 9 | Observe the same rules of conduct on the bus as in the classroom. |
14 | 10 | Eating and drinking is not allowed on the bus. |
15 | 11 | Electronic devices are not allowed to be used for audio and video use on the bus. Cell phone use on the bus is in alignment with school policy. |
16 | 12 | Use of tobacco, vape products, matches and lighters are prohibited at the bus stop and on the bus. |
17 | 13 | Profane language, written or gestured is prohibited on the bus. |
18 | 14 | Keep the bus clean. |
19 | 15 | Animals are not allowed on the bus. |
20 | 16 | Large items are permitted only if it can be secured on the students lap, sharp objects are not allowed. |
21 | 17 | Skateboards and balls if allowed at school must be stored in a bag while on the bus. |
22 | 18 | Balloons are not allowed on the bus. |
23 | 19 | Students will make restitution to either Everett Public Schools or Durham School Services for damages/vandelism on the bus. |
