The Administration recommends the Board of Directors adopt Resolution 871: Quit Claim Deed for Everett Community College (ATTACHMENT). The quit claim deed will help the college establish clear title to property containing their gymnasium building and athletic field, located generally between 13th & 14th Streets and Lombard & Rockefeller Avenues in north Everett. The property was vested, or assigned, to the State Board for Community & Technical Colleges pursuant to the Community College Act passed by the Washington State Legislature in 1967. Prior to that, Everett Community College, then known as Everett Junior College, was controlled and operated by the Everett School District. | |
