Communication

·   Include topic of message in subject line

·   Include your first and last name

·   Provide a phone number to contact (if you have one)

·   Use appropriate language, tone and volume

·   RESPOND to all messages from staff
Check your school email DAILY first thing (Mon-Fri)

·   Log in to Canvas read announcements, submit assignments, read feedback, etc

·   RESPOND to all messages form staff
Be aware of your digital footprint

·   Maintain security of passwords
 

Online Classroom

(Canvas, Google, etc)

 
·   Use appropriate language, tone and volume

·   Be inclusive, welcoming to all

·   Share appropriate comments on other student work or discussion boards

·   Follow staff direction/activity
Log into each course daily

·   Communicate with the teacher or attendance office if you aren’t able to “attend”

·   Complete your own work and follow acceptable use guidelines

·   Submit work regularly

·   Self Advocacy- If stuck ask for help
Communicate in a safe manner

·   Do not share passwords

 
 

Zoom
·   Mute your microphone on entry

·   Turn on your video with your face in the picture

·   Be inclusive, welcoming to all

·   Be “present” in the Zoom

·   Support a positive learning culture

·   Use chat to talk to everyone and be appropriate

·   Follow staff direction/activity
Arrive On Time by signing in 5 minutes before the start

·   Bring needed materials for session

·   Charge your battery or be plugged into a power source.

·   Keep your charger nearby
View your camera picture to review appropriate for classroom

·   Follow reasonable requests of staff

·   Return to the main room or private chat with the staff if you have concerns with another student or something happening in class
 

Technology
·   Digital Citizenship

·   Use device for intended purpose

·   Follow staff direction/ lesson/task
Charge you device daily and have your power cord

·   Protect from damage

·   Maintain updates

·   Report device problems to staff or help link to problem solve

·   Use Tech help resources
Use appropriately including social media

·   Take care of your digital footprint

·   Consider where you leave your device

 
 

Other
·   Provide 6 feet of radius around yourself when outside

·   Wear a mask to help keep other safe
Leave house for only essential errands only

·   Self Advocacy- If you need non-academic support ask a staff member
Stay home and maintain social distancing recommendations per the state and CDC

·   Wear a mask

·   Wash you hands for at least 20 seconds
