Re: Benefit Trust

Dear Carol:

Since I will be retiring in February 2008, please accept this letter as my resignation as a District Trustee for the Everett Employee Benefit Trust, effective December 31, 2007.

Of the many committees I’ve served on over the past 29 years, the Trust is the highlight. It has been obvious from the beginning that the group was working for “the good of the order”, no special interests or agendas other than providing the best for all employees. Everyone hung together during the tough times, making decisions that were difficult. I am proud that the fiduciary responsibilities of the trustees have led to financial stability and the ability to give back to the employees we serve.

It has been a pleasure working with such a fine group of people and I am grateful for all that I’ve learned from this experience.
