Executive Session Minutes 4.19.10
The Executive Session was called to order at 3:34 p.m. to review Employee Medical Benefit Appeal #10-01. The employee went through the HMA appeals process but was denied. After exhausting all appeal options with HMA, the employee contacted Human Resources to discuss next steps.
The Trustees heard the details of the appeal and discussed the information provided. A motion was made by Mike Gunn to overturn the denial from HMA and approve Employee Benefit Appeal #10-01. The motion carried unanimously. On behalf of the Trustees, a letter will be prepared and sent to HMA notifying them of the Trust’s decision to overturn the appeal denial.
