I should have cc ’d you on my response to Randi.



Hi Randi,



I believe they just need to be given a heads up that the Trustees are scheduled to approve next year ’s plans at the September 13 meeting. I have not “invited ” them to meetings in the past. They were always informed by HR.



The current Aetna plans are not changing. The rates will be going up as they usually do. Yes we will either be approving next year ’s rates at the September 13 meeting or adding a special meeting if the Trustees feel there is a need to do so.



The meetings are open to the public so no invitation is needed. The agenda will be posted online no later than September 11. At this time the Trustees are planning to finalize upcoming fiscal year plans and rates as usual. I ’ve attached the packet that Mercer provided if the Presidents would be interested.

We will need to invite the presidents of our labor associations to the next regularly scheduled Trust meeting which I believe is September 13.

I ’ve copied Susie Halsey (and Alyssa Harrell who is replacing Susie) to this email so that they can provide the names and contact information of the association presidents so that you can invite them.

I understood from Kelly Shepherd in my conversation with her today that the Trustees would like the union presidents informed of the meeting and that the meeting agenda will probably include a vote to set plans and rates.
