    I actually planned on attending the meeting because I thought we might discuss next steps in the RFP process, but since Mercer is attending, discussing the RFP is probably not a good idea. We can discuss it at September’s meeting, but I will have to attend by telephone because I will be traveling that day.

    Hi Melanie,

      

    The district recently had Mercer along with Wade Symons ( Regulatory Resources Group National Leader, Employee Benefits Attorney and Principal) here to discuss ACA Compliance and potential risk.   

      

    Wade is planning on being here again, with Sean to discuss some of the take aways from our meeting (an assessment of potential penalties, providing affordable coverage and options, as well as our retire/rehire population.)

      

    In sharing briefly with Jeff Moore about this, as I will not be at the trust meeting, he asked that I invite you to attend the meeting, and if you cannot attend, possibly be available by phone.   

      

    Please let us know if you believe you can make it.   

      

    It is August 23, 2017 – 2:00 pm – Here at the Community Resource Center – Monte Cristo Room.
