Adoption of Agenda
A motion was made by Gregg Elder and seconded by Jeff Moore to adopt the agenda as written. The motion passed unanimously.
Adoption of Minutes
A motion was made by Kelly Shepherd and seconded by Gregg Elder to approve the minutes from the October 17, 2018 Regular Trust meeting as written. The motion passed unanimously.
Financials
Darla reviewed the financials for July, August, September and October. She said financials are on track with expectations.
Wellness Program Update
Randi announced that Shelley is one of the recipients of Kaiser Permanente’s Thriving Schools Honor Roll Award. The district was one of eighteen nominees. The Trustees congratulated Shelley and thanked her for her efforts. Shelly reviewed the monthly wellness activities with the group.
Benefits Department Update
Randi reported that open enrollment ends at 4:00 p.m. on November 15. She said benefits staff have been very busy with providing seven different open enrollment events for staff, receiving and responding to over five hundred emails in the last three weeks, as well as providing assistance to drop in visitors. There were 1,055 transactions that occurred today on Employee Online. Detailed plan change information will be provided at the next meeting. Randi also noted that staff are becoming more aware of SEBB and the potential changes coming in 2020.
Upcoming December Agenda items
The Trustees reviewed agenda items planned for the December 12, 2018 regular Trust meeting. Because there were no urgent or timely agenda items, the Trustees agreed to cancel the December meeting.
