Hi all – attached is a summary of the winners/losers analysis we completed. The first exhibit compares the ESEBT-sponsored Kaiser plan to the Kaiser plan options through SEBB, both in terms of plan design and monthly ee contributions. The next two pages do the same for the Aetna plans vs. the Premera and UMP options available through SEBB.

You will see that we are only showing the 1.0 FTE contributions for ESEBT. As it turns out, the SEBB contribution requirements were set at such competitive (low against market) levels, that “everyone is a winner” – i.e. for the 1.0 FTE ees, all plan options through SEBB will represent a reduction in what they pay toward coverage. For PT ees, the reduction will be even more significant.

These exhibits are PDF conversions of the Excel summary exhibits we created, and the fonts end up pretty small, probably not ideal for projecting, but I think it’s pretty readable if you print it out. Let me know if you would like these re-formatted into a PPT version to make the projection more readable. Given the results, though, the trustees may not wish to get into the details, knowing that all ees will pay less for coverage under SEBB.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    Sean
