    Woodside teacher wins award
Kimberly Sandstrom, fifth grade teacher at Woodside Elementary School, was
selected by Office Max in Woodinville, as the first recipient in A Day Made Better
program, sponsored by Office Max and Adopt-A-Classroom.
Sandstrom was nominated by a community member for her dedication to her
    students and the school.
"If you are lucky enough to be one of Mrs. Sandstrom's students, she will be your
teacher for life," the nomination reads. "Mrs. Sandstrom continues her student
relationships through graduation and further. She is one of those teachers that
make learning so fun her students forget they are in school."
Employees of Office Max presented Sandstrom with $1,400 in classroom
supplies, including a digital camera, a printer, and an executive chair.
