The Everett School District operates highly capable programs at the elementary level, challenge programs at the middle level and challenging options at the high school level (ATTACHMENT). These programs provide learning experiences for students that exceed standard in the normal curriculum. Tonight’s presentation will provide an update to the Board on each of the programs offered by the District and will provide student achievement data for each of the programs. | |
The Administration will share the new configuration of services to support early learning, work in progress and plans for the future in early childhood education in Everett Public Schools (ATTACHMENT). | |
The attached proposed revised Policy 2210—Special Education and Related Services for Eligible Students, is provided at this time for first reading by the Board with approval to be requested at a future Board meeting (ATTACHMENT). The changes to this policy reflect revisions to IDEA 2004 (Individuals with Disabilities Improvement Act).

The District’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for 2006-2007 is presented to the Board for its information (ATTACHMENT). | |
Financial reports as of January 31, 2008, are provided for the Board of Directors’ review (ATTACHMENT). The reports include year-to-date information on revenues and expenditures, General Fund projections, a cash report and an investment summary. | |
