EVERETT PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The Board of Directors of Everett School District No. 2, Snohomish County, Washington, along with members of the District’s Central Administration Facility planning committee, conducted site visitations and discussions on Friday, October 31, 2008. They departed the Educational Service Center, 4730 Colby Avenue, Everett, Washington, at 8 a.m. and returned to the Educational Service Center at 12:30 p.m.
Board members who attended were Carol Andrews, Sue Cooper, Kristie Dutton, Karen Madsen and Ed Petersen.
The purpose of the site visits and discussions was to examine architectural features of three locations for possible consideration when planning and constructing a new central administration facility.
The itinerary was as follows:
1) 8 a.m.—Departed Educational Service Center
2) 9 a.m.—Toured Terry Thomas Building, offices of Weber Thompson Architects, 225 Terry North, Suite 200, Seattle, Washington
3)
| On the return trip north, drove by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, 1100 Fairview Avenue North, Seattle, Washington |
4)
| 10:30 a.m.—Toured Edmonds School District (central office), 20420 – 68th Avenue West, Lynnwood, Washington |
5) 11:45 a.m.—Left Edmonds
6) 12:30 p.m.—Returned to Everett departure point
The site visits and discussions concluded at 12:30 p.m.
