Parents asked to take survey online

Everett Public Schools' Instructional Management System(IMS) allows parents to access information about student

attendance, grades, progress reports and transcripts.

We are considering an upgrade to that system, announced district Curriculum and Assessment Director Ric Williams, and we

want to know from parents what they find most helpful about the existing system and their suggestions for making it work

better.

Parents can share their best thoughts about IMS using another online tool — this time an online survey that captures their

responses and organizes them for Ric's staff to analyze. All responses are anonymous, emphasized Williams.

The survey will be open for parent comments until the end of the day Thursday, May 15. Parents can click on the survey link

by going to the district Web site at www.everett.k12.wa.us. Look for the Parent Survey link
