Realities of College Recruiting — for student athletes and parents

For parents and students wanting to know what it is like to compete at the college and university level, Jack Renkens has

some answers. The former college coach and current recruiting expert travels the country to share what he knows about this

next educational and competitive step for students.

"The Realities of College Recruiting" is a 60-minute presentation giving students and parents facts about the recruiting

process. Renkens shares what he knows about recruiting and gives tips to make it easier to find opportunities to compete at

the college level.

Everett Public Schools is hosting two free opportunities for student athletes and parents to learn from Renkens'experiences:

1. Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Cascade High School, in the cafeteria

2. Wednesday, November 8 at 6:30 p.m. at H.M. Jackson High School, in the commons.
