Career Fair scheduled for October 25
Wednesday, October 25 could be a life-changing day for students and families who attend the second annual What About
Tomorrow? Career and College Fair at the Everett Events Center hosted by Everett Public Schools and WorkSource
Snohomish County.
"Last year's fair was a great success with some 1,600 students from Everett Public Schools and Snohomish County learning
what their futures could be from more than 120 post-secondary institutions represented!" said Becky Ballbach lead counselor
for Everett Public Schools. "What About Tomorrow?" is unique in that it is much more than just a college fair."
In addition to the post-secondary colleges, universities, technical schools and trade and apprenticeship programs,
professionals from Snohomish County's top ten employment sectors will be on hand to help students connect with their
potential career goals. These are businesses such as the City of Everett, Goodrich, Microsoft, construction and trades, the
Washington Restaurant Association, Nordstrom and many more.
Students, staff, parents, and community members are invited to the fair from 2:30 — 7 p.m. on October 25. For more
information visit www.everett.k12.wa.us/careerfair
