New administrative appointments as of June 14, 2006

John Balmer

was hired as the assistant principal for Heatherwood Middle School. Balmer was a middle school assistant

principal for the Yakima School District before coming to Everett.

Carla Barton

came to Everett from the Edmonds School District. Barton will be the principal of Whittier Elementary.

Mandy Benson

was promoted to human resources supervisor/analyst.

Concepcion (Concie) Pedroza

was hired as the assistant principal of Emerson Elementary and Hawthorne Elementary.

Pedroza previously served as the head teacher at Gatzert Elementary School in Seattle.

Sara Woolverton

was hired as special services director, area one. Woolverton comes to the district from Seattle Public

Schools where she was a special education program manager.
