chains—a device made of chains or cables, attached around a tire’s tread on a motor vehicle to increase traction, as on snow
chair lift—a number of seats suspended from a power driven endless cable, used especially to carry skiers up a mountain slope
moguls—a bump or ridge of closely packed snow, built up on a curve where skiers turn
parallel—extending in the same direction and at the same distance apart at every point, so as never to meet
parka—a hooded jacket, often with fleece or pile lining
polypropylene—a very light, highly resistant, thermoplastic resin used in packaging, coating, clothing, etc.
resorts—a place to which people go often or generally, especially one for rest or recreation, as on a vacation
ski rack—a lift used for automotive vehicles to carry items
snow bunnies—people that enjoy looking good while playing in the snow
snow plow—a stemming of both skis, as for stopping with the inside of the ski edges dug into the snow, and tips of the skis pointed at each other
