I’ve stepped on hot pavement before. It hurts your feet!

 

Everyone has had an experience when they were short on time. Her behavior is typical of people in a hurry.

 

 

Cats and dogs hide when they are frightened. (They probably either have a cat or a dog or know someone who does.)

 

From personal experience or observation of people, we know that only caring people would take the time to make sure the cat was taken care of.

 

 

 

 
The pavement was hot. The cat had to hop and leap into the cool garage.

 

Now she had to spend her time looking for a cat she had never seen before. She had too many things to do. She looked at her watch and sighed.

 

The cat scooted underneath her car.

 

 

 

 

LeAnn took the time to find the cat’s owner, even though she was in a hurry and didn’t care for cats.
It is hot summer day.

 

 

LeAnn is in a hurry, impatient and wishes she did not need to deal with the cat situation.

 

 

The cat is frightened.
