The Internet is a wonderful resource, but it can also be very dangerous. We can be safe on the Internet as long as we follow some rules. There are three rules that we should follow when we are on the Internet. The first rule is: Do not give your phone number, address, password, or photo to anyone on the Internet. The second rule is: Make sure you show an adult any messages you get that upsets you for any reason. The third and final rule is: Do not tell anyone private stuff about yourself or your family. If we all follow these rules the Internet can be a safe and fun place to learn and play.
Although I love science, I dread conducting experiments since I am such a klutz. One time I made a ghastly error with my first experiment. As usual, I was in a hurry and did not take enough time to get the materials ready. Instead of lining up a pair of liquids in the center of my work table, I left them on the precariously close to the edge. I heard a loud noise coming from the opposite side of the room, turned to look and banged into the table. You can guess what happened: liquid and broken glass went flying everywhere. It’s quite clear to me that I be more careful if I ever want to be a chemist.
