You can find the primary sources that meet the needs of your lesson plans in ABC-CLIO s online databases in
several ways:
Choose a topic from the Explore section on any database s home page:
Click on a title to go to that topicsOverviewpage
Choose the Primary Sources option from the menu on the left side of the Overview page
Related Entries, on the right side of any reference or Overview page, link to additional primary sources
categorized by type, such as images or audio
Use a Simple Search:
Just enter a search topic term in the Search box on the upper right of the page in any of ABC-CLIO s
online databases
Click Search to go directly to your results
Use the Filter My Results menu on the left side of the results page to identify only specific types of
primary source materials within your results

You can also locate primary sources with the Advanced Search function:
Click on the Advanced Search tab near the top of the page in any of ABC-CLIO s online databases
Primary source materials may be selected by clicking one or a combination of categories on the left side
of the Advanced Search page. You may target a search by selecting other options or typing search terms
in the Search box
When you have made your selections, click the Search button on the Advanced Search page to get your
results
