· Sustainability: Achieve a diverse membership and maintain a balanced of grade levels of team membership [32 members] by June 2012. | ||
· Fundraising: Have 100% of team involvement on team fundraiser activities to raise $3000 per year. | ||
· Engineering: Strive to engage all members in the engineering and process of the robot and contribute to other competition-related roles to complete the robot a week before ship date. All members will complete an Auto CAD tutorial and lesson and CAD a pre-existing part, we will 3D print the best ones, during preseason. | ||
· Service: Everyone will participate in a minimum of 2 school service projects (Octoberfest/Freshmen Orientation). Every member will participate and commit to being an active Youth Action Team Member. Organize and provide transportation grants for Rookie All Star Teams’ from Washington to go to nationals by December 2011. Document this process to share across other states. | ||
· Promotion of FIRST: Sustain team involvements in the celebrating of FIRST in the following events: First fest, celebrating of innovation, elementary science fairs, MTAG conference, UW Engineering, Boeing engineering week (mentor recruitment), Mill Creek festival (next year), Seafair, Demo our robot in middle schools, mentoring FLL, host FTC regional, and curriculum night. | ||
· Media: Publish articles about FIRST events in the Stiqayu, Mill Creek view, Everett Herald, and other trade magazines (Trade Ex, SPIA, SPEEA, IEEE) by June of 2012. | ||
· Personal: Every senior on the team will fill out applications for scholarships and graduate with at least one scholarship. |
