    Thank you for your call yesterday, I am happy you plan to serve on the Business Advisory Committee. Vocational advisory committees help to ensure that students graduate with a career plan and enter the workforce with current job specific skills.

     

    The Career and Technical Education program in Everett Public Schools contains seven areas of learning, each with their own advisory committee. Each committee is made up of representatives from industries that give feedback to ensure that lessons taught in the classroom align with current standards. As a member of this committee you will be asked to give input in your area of expertise.

    The committee meets three times per year, and the next meeting is February 21, 2005 and will be held at Cascade High School. You will receive notification from Patti Ross, the teacher liaison for this group prior to the meeting.
