    Student Presentation

Students from Ivette Thompson’s FBLA at Jackson High School (Sean Kelly, Steffan Swaffield and Scott Sutherland) came and made a presentation to the committee about their award winning Stock Market Game activity. This is an online game that students participate in across the country, in which they buy and sell real stocks, beginning with $10,000. This team placed 1st in the state and 3rd in the nation.

Other students from Jackson’s FBLA placed 1st in Web Design and 1st in Technology Concepts, and they will be going to national competition this summer.

    Review of Two Year Plan

Ivette brought the draft of the two year plan, and pulled it up on the infocus projector so that the group could work collectively on revisions. The committee went through each item on the two year plan, making edits and revisions, and the completed version is attached.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
