    Team Norms

     

    We feel we are operating in the marketplace of ideas and should therefore respect one anothers viewpoints, comments, and concerns.
    · The team will create an equal opportunity for involvement by:
    o Sharing skills, talents, and ideas freely  
    o Showing respect to each other  
    o De-personalizing questions and concerns  
    o Helping each other with the struggle  
    o Agreeing to disagree  
    o Stating understanding of another member's views, before disagreeing  
    o We feel that we are operating in the "marketplace of ideas" and should therefore respect one another viewpoints, comments, and concerns.  
    o Every team member deserves a clean slate each meeting. Therefore, every team member will make maximum effort to let go of disagreements, frustration, and other unproductive feelings that may have arisen about any other team member(s) prior to coming to agreement.





    Team Vision/Goals

     

    We, the members of the General Advisory Council for Everett Public Schools,

    *Dedicate ourselves wholly and individually to succeed in the CTE programs

    *Value our diverse team and what each member offers,

    *Support one another in the journey and learn from the lessons along the way,

    *Strive to create a nurturing learning environment,

    *Agree to cooperate, remain open-minded, act professionally, be honest, have mutual respect, and forgive misunderstandings,

    *Commit ourselves to designing the highest-quality programs, and

    *Challenge one another to reach beyond what we think is possible.
