BECU: Algebra in everything; basic math skills; balance checkbook and finances

 

Everett Event Center: Percentages (discounts); services fees; sales tax;

      Trigonometry: speakers (pounds)

      Energy Costs (water, heating, electricity)

 

Central Lutheran Church: payroll; budget; finances

Use software to generate math equations (you still need to know and understand for auditing)

 

Snohomish County Workforce: manage funds; grants from federal government;

Algebra equations (basic skills): MUST MAINTAIN CLOSE MONTIORING for auditing.

 

Public School Systems (District Level): Budget~what to do with adds/cuts in budget

        Organizing money management

 

Snohomish County Health District: Data analysis (population data); statistic

Analysis; Intrepid data, compare and contrast data,

 Management Level: payroll budgeting grant writing and spending, budget

 

Everett Community College (Professor of Nutrition): Basic math concepts, figuring

    Out calculations, formulas (i.e. calorie percentages from fat)

 

Public School Systems (Nutrition-Food Services): Estimations; percentages

Be flexible, expectation change-be willing to learn

Preparing throughout different jobs

Take advantages of opportunities (travel, education, career development)

Build relationships, self reflect, build repore

Strong work ethics

Attendance-accountability (time management)

Deadlines are enforced

BALANCE

Continue math skills-math is in all workplaces

Taxes, building houses, tips in restaurant/business

Aptitude and ability to succeed

Business owners: labor costs, budget
