Programming and Web Design across the district—focus on developing and submitting a common outline, common assessments for each.

 

 

Robotics Curriculum- explore curriculum materials and prepare course to be taught for 2013-2014 school year. Develop a course website linking curriculum, visit schools that teach robotics, decide about teaming science and cte staff.

 

 

Work on developing the Senior Seminar Coursework to reflect the district changes to be implemented next year.

Develop a calendar for August to look at programming outline, programming assessments(final), curriculum materials-

 

Attend Carnegie Melon University Robotics Academy July 9-13 2012

 

Work with Carl to determine what schools we should visit, determine the instructional team that will visit and develop the curriculum

 

The district has said that the curriculum changes will be ready in August so we should schedule time at the end of August to work.

Working on getting contacts for this to happen - Add a High School And Beyond night focus on Technology Courses inviting UW Information School, Edmonds Community College to talk about IT careers, Try to get some former students to present(still working on this).
