We are preparing to deploy new Elmo digital document cameras that will replace the older document cameras on the MMTS carts throughout the district. We arrive at Jackson HS to deliver and deploy the document cameras on Thursday, March 21st. We will be starting @ 9:30am and should be done by the afternoon. We may need to finish the next morning if deployment runs longer than expected.

We expect to take approx. 20 minutes to replace the document camera in each classroom and change some of the cable setup, including connecting the new document cameras to the computer and installing software capture images and videos in high definition. It should be a pretty slick !

We are finishing our collection of room information for a final number of current MMTS stations with document cameras. In addition, we will leave -5- repurposed Elmo document cameras onsite to use for small group instruction. If you don’t currently have a MMTS cart but would like to have one of the used-but-in-good-shape cameras being replaced, contact your principal. Let me know if you have any questions.
