5th Friday of the Month (on the rare occasion that this occurs)—EVERYONE |
Some ideas for goodies are purchased baked goods such as doughnuts, homemade treats such as coffee cakes and cookies, fresh fruit such as bananas, grapes, seasonal treats, something with protein such as little smokies, breakfast casseroles, yogurt and granola, bagels and cream cheese—these are just some ideas. Talk amongst your colleagues who share your planning period if you want to do a theme or just coordinate. |
Thursday mornings I usually send out a reminder (I try to be witty; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t—if you have some jokes to share, pass them my way!). |
If you are new to JHS, this is a GREAT WAY to get to know your colleagues. Not everyone shows up at Finally Fridays, not everyone stays the whole time, but whether it’s to grab a donut, say hello, and dash to the copy room or to sit and chat, it doesn’t matter! Come see what it’s all about! |
