    On May 13th Cascade High School’s (CHS) Career and Technical Education (CTE) Intro and Advanced Video Production students participated in the Northwest High School Film Festival (NWHSFF) at the Cinerama in Seattle. There were over 200 students in attendance from 30 different high schools around the Puget Sound Region. Four students from the Intro and advanced video class all walked away with Awards of excellence.

    The NWHSFF is the largest high school film festival in the country. It is put on by the MEET group (Media Educators Excellence Team) which is made up of media teachers across the Puget Sound area. The festival has been running for 19 years and is growing every year. This year the festival was sponsored by Vulcan Inc, Cinerama, The Academy of Interactive Entertainment, Glazer’s Camera, Advanced Broadcasting Solutions and The Art Institute of Seattle. More information can be found by going to the following website: http://nwhsff.weebly.com/
