· Each person in groups of 2 will come up with a theme unit that includes an activity/craft, the making of a homemade book, and the making of a puppet with instructions of how a person could incorporate the puppet or use the puppet to go with the theme that will be shared with the class which would foster growth in children (ages 3-4, 4-5, or 5-6) in the four developmental areas. |
· The activity must be able to be carried out with little or no cost. |
· Choose an activity centered around a theme (bugs, flowers, letters, numbers, zoo animals, farm animals, boats, water life, wild life, trucks, cars, food, etc). Keep in mind the four developmental areas: emotional, social, intellectual, and physical. Websites to try for ideas would be Family Fun Magazine, Parents, Cookie Magazine, etc. |
· Type a description of the activity. It could be a half sheet or full sheet of paper. Include the following in your description: |

4. | Description of Activity (Step-by-Step directions on how to do it with one made sample or at least a picture of the made product). |

4. | The homemade puppet with instructions on how to incorporate it into the theme/lesson/activity typed out | |
