Proposed School Board Meetings Schedule for 2003-2004 (first reading)

The attached Proposed School Board Meetings Schedule for 2003-2004 is provided for first reading with approval to be requested at a future Board meeting (ATTACH.).
Update—Middle School Competency Project

The Administration will provide an update on the middle school competency project.

Request for Conditional Certificate
The Administration requests the Board of Directors authorize the Executive Director of Human Resources Molly Ringo to request from the Superintendent of Public Instruction a renewal of a Conditional Certificate for Doreen Angeline Khan Calhoun (ATTACHMENT).

Resolution 767: Authorizing the Superintendent and/or Associate

Superintendent, Finance and Operations, to Submit a Request for Eligibility for the Washington State School District Credit Enhancement Program
The Administration recommends the adoption of Resolution 767 authorizing the Superintendent and/or Associate Superintendent, Finance and Operations, to submit a request for eligibility for the Washington State School District Credit Enhancement Program (ATTACHMENT). If eligible, the District can potentially realize substantial savings by using the State’s credit rating when selling general obligation bonds.
