        21. The H.M. Jackson High School Cafeteria Expansion project included the construction of a new student commons adjacent to the existing cafeteria. This project focused on providing flexible spaces to meet the ever changing needs of high school education, community use and technology.  $333,445 of the costs for this project were covered by mitigation/impact fees, and $3,853,696 were covered by SCAP funds.
        22. Everett Memorial Stadium Locker Room Improvements

        24. This project entailed the construction of a new locker room in the basement of the Athletics Building. The locker room included lockers for 34 athletes, new restrooms, shower facilities, coach's office and training area. The new locker room is used by the Everett AquaSox Baseball Team and teams from Everett High School. This project also included the installation of new larger lockers in existing locker rooms C and D. This project was funded by a 2007 appropriation from the State Legislature for improvements to Everett's Minor League Baseball Facility. This project was funded by the rent/miscellaneous fund.
        25. Everett Memorial Stadium Soil Remediation

        27. Soil contaminated with hydrocarbons was discovered and remediated from the site of the future Community Resource Center. This project was funded by the SCAP funds.

        30. This project replaced the synthetic turf and track with a new synthetic turf and track. $759,799 of the costs for this project were covered by baseball stadium reserve funds, and $201,974 were covered by 2006 bond funds.

        33. Corridors throughout the school received a mix of new carpet and vinyl floor tile and new vinyl tile wainscot during the summer 2006. New carpet was installed in classrooms, band, choir, library and administration areas. This project was funded by the SCAP funds.

        45. This project replaced aging, inefficient HVAC equipment and installed a building energy management system that provides better control of the indoor environment and reduced energy use. The project also included replacement of the school's roofing system, which had reached the end of its useful life, with increased insulation to improve energy performance. $2,663,966 of the costs for this project were covered by 2010 levy funds, and $32,653 were covered by SCAP funds.

        48. This project replaced aged penthouse ventilation damper structure and replaced a new fire damper unit over stage performance area. $81,983 of the costs for this project were covered by SCAP funds, and $151,214 were covered by rent/miscellaneous funds.
        49. Project Completed: 2016This project replaced a non-functioning internal standby generator at Heatherwood MS with a new generator located outside the building. This work is complete and the generator is on-line, and ready to provide emergency standby electrical power to the school in the event of a power outage.         Ten portable classroom portables were purchased, installed, and furnished on various sites in 2016, including Jackson ES (1), Lowell ES (1), Whittier ES (2), Forest View ES (3) Cedar Wood ES (2), and Silver Lake ES (1). $1,148,113 of the costs for this project were covered by mitigation/impact fees, and $809,869 were covered by SCAP funds, and $12,917 were covered by rent/miscellaneous funds.
         
        Jackson HS Chiller Upgrade
        Actual Cost: $183,665
        Project Completed: 2016
        Two air conditioning chillers that provided cooling capacity to the HVAC system at Jackson HS were severely damaged during a major wind storm in August 2015. These units underwent major repairs since that time and are now in full operation and ready for the 2016-17 school year. This work included replacement of the main control panels, temperature sensors, transducers, current sensors, electronic expansion valves, controllers for the electronic expansion valves; installation of three phase voltage monitoring kits, relay expansion boards, and sensor analog boards, and new compressors. This project was funded by 2010 levy funds transferred to the general fund.
         
        Healthy Kids Healthy Schools Grant

        Project Completed: 2016
        Recently the district received a preliminary award for water bottle filling stations at 4 high schools and a new dishwasher at Sequoia. The dishwasher is being installed now, and the water bottle filling stations are scheduled to be installed by June 2017. This project was funded by grant proceeds in the rent/miscellaneous fund.

        New portables were provided at Jefferson (3), Jackson HS (3), Lowell (1), Forest View (3), and Silver Lake (6). $1,190,719 of the costs for this project were covered by mitigation/impact fees, and $1,613,529 were covered by SCAP funds.
         
        M&O Equipment Purchase
        Actual Cost: $106,075
        Project Completed: 2015
        Purchased four pieces of equipment, a large mower, a medium mower, a tractor powered aerator and a scissors lift, for use by the district’s maintenance and operations department. This project was funded by the rent/miscellaneous fund.
         
        Memorial Baseball Stadium Seating Upgrade

        Approximately 112 baseball stadium seats were replaced with new seats. This project was funded by the school construction assistance program funds.
         
        Cascade High School Gymnasium Floor Refinishing

        This project refinished and partially replaced the gymnasium floor at Cascade High School. The scope of work included adding framing supports to support the floor in the area where replacement materials were installed, and the entire floor was sanded and refinished and new court lines were installed. This project was funded by 2010 levy funds transferred to the general fund.

        Community Resource Center

        The Community Resource Center (CRC) was constructed on district owned land, and is located on the corner of Broadway and 41st, at the south “gateway” to the City of Everett.  The CRC brings together all district administrators into one building, where before, administrators were housed in the Longfellow building, the Educational Services Center building and several portable classrooms that were converted to office space. The project entailed constructing a three story office structure, with two floors of offices above a parking garage. $21,349,051 of the costs for this project were covered by SCAP funds, and $7,008,753 were covered by rent/miscellaneous funds.

        New asphalt shingle roofing, sheet metal flashing, gutters and downspouts were installed on the athletics building, football press box and the south ticket booth at Memorial Stadium. This project included adding a fall-restraint system and equipment to allow safer working conditions during maintenance activities on these roofs in the future. This project was funded by 2010 levy funds.

         

        District-wide HVAC Controls – Phase I

        Project Completed: 2016

        The front end HVAC controls have been replaced or upgraded at 11 schools and the maintenance building. These are older Alerton (ATS) and all the Schneider (CCI/Long) systems. This project was funded by 2010 levy funds.

         

        Heatherwood MS Backup Generator

        This project replaced a non-functioning internal standby generator at Heatherwood MS with a new generator located outside the building.         Jackson HS Boiler Room Hydronic Piping Upgrades
