These fraction cards were designed to be printed out and used for the teacher’s deck, Capture Fractions, and Fractions on a Number Line.
DO NOT skip Session 2.1 “Making Fraction Cards”.
This lesson is very important as students demonstrate understanding of the numerator and denominator, represent fractions greater than one, and find fractional parts of a rectangular area.
These cards were made so that students would have accurate fraction cards when working on the fraction activities (sometimes checking and correcting all of the fraction cards for each group is a bit too time consuming).
