He opened by referring to the District’s summer lunch program which was highlighted in a recent article in The Herald (E:206/05).
Food & Nutrition Supervisor Debbie Webber said the District, which was one of the first in the area to sponsor such a program, is in its 15th year of offering lunches in the summer.
An inaugural reception will be held for her on August 16.
