- Friday Report: March 7, 2014  Date Submitted: March 4, 2014 Subject: PNW FIRST Robotics Competition Submitted by: STEM Leadership Team Strategic Target: 5.4a The 2014 Pacific Northwest (PNW) For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Robotics competition is being hosted by Glacier Peak High School. - Both Cascade and Henry M. - Jackson High School will be competing along with 32 other teams from around the Pacific Northwest. - The FIRST Robotics Competition challenges teams of young people and their mentors to solve a common problem in a six-week timeframe using a standard "kit of parts" and a common set of rules.
