PREPARATONS FOR A REDUCTION OF THE 2010-20n OPERATING BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Washington State Economic and Revenue Forecast Council's February revenue
projection estimates an additional $2.8 billion shortfall for the remainder of the 2009-2011 biennium; and
WHEREAS, the state's projected budget deficit will impact Everett Public Schools' ability to
maintain its current educational service levels in 2010-2011; and
WHEREAS, the District's student enrollment is projected to experience a slight decline from the
2009-2010 enrollment to the 2010-2011 enrollment; and
