Direc ons: The purposes for the ac vi es are to have fun with math and see math throughout your day.
- Place objects on a
paper plate.
- Have your child count each object while moving it to another plate.
- Challenge ac鼁vity: Sort by color, size, or family member.
- (If using dice and
dominoes it also promotes number recogni on.) Play a simple board game or card game, or use dominoes and dice with
your child.
- Challenge ac鼁vity: Es mate how many steps it will take before beginning to count.
