students create peace poles
Everett, WA—Each year, Jefferson
Elementary School’s staff-led Family
Engagement Team comes up with an art
project to highlight at their annual Family Art
Walk and Ice Cream Social.
- Each pole represents a grade level with art
created by the students and “peace” written in
several languages.
- Wherever we may go, we use a friendly voice
and we help others to grow.
- The Jefferson Elementary PTA provided popsicles and ice cream bars
for the family event.
