During its regular meeting on Nov 6, 2018, the Everett Public Schools Board of Directors didthe following:RECOGNIZED STUDENTS FROM SUMMER READING PROGRAMThe board recognized students who achieved remarkable results during summer reading 2018.
Student representative Pollock also mentioned a love for reading and said how great it
was to see kids who are so happy to read.
HEARD A FISCAL OUTLOOK
The board heard a presentation about the current financial projections, which included aprojected shortfall beginning in 2019-20.
If layoffs are necessary, the district will work with affected staff to ensure as
much notice as possible is given.
