March 27, 2019Band, choir and orchestra students make music at regional competitionQualifying students will travel to Central Washington University to compete at state levelEVERETT—Earlier this month, students from each of ourcomprehensive high schools competed against otherregional high school students to qualify for the statecompetition held at Central Washington University (CWU)April 26-27.
First-, second- and
third-place winners in each category are awarded medals ata ceremony each evening.
In total, 87 students are heading to CWU.
“This is a tremendous experience for our students who have
worked so hard to get this far in music,” concluded West.
