The Washington State Legislature recently passed a bill creating multiple pathways to graduation.
  • Passing each of these assessments is the first “pathway” among a set of multiple
pathways to graduate.
  • Students in the class
of 2021 and beyond must still earn 24 credits to obtain a high school diploma.

• State has yet to define“qualifying sequence” forcareer and technicalcourses ? Complete a qualifying sequence of career and technical (CTE)coursesCTE course sequence qualifies to meet both math and ELA requirements.
