September 4, 2019The “Battle for Broadway” has a new traveling trophyInaugural “Mayor’s Cup” set for this Friday For over a half century, the rivalry betweenthe Everett High School Seagulls and theCascade High School Bruins has beenhighlighted at the first football game betweenthe teams each year, dubbed, “Battle forBroadway.”This year, the battle is Friday, September 6th,and will include an exciting new component,the Mayor’s Cup.
The perpetual trophy will be
presented by Mayor Cassie Franklin andSuperintendent Ian B.
Saltzman to the winning team at the conclusion of the game.
