SECTION 7.04 – SITE SAFETY COMMITTEESContact: Business Services @ Extension 4153A.
  • Overview
The purpose of the site safety committees is to assist in the detection andelimination of unsafe conditions and work procedures.
  • ? The chairperson shall be elected by the committee.
  • Copies will be provided to the
director of business services/district safety officer, the appropriateassistant superintendent and posted on all site safety bulletinboards (see Section 7.05).
  • D. Scope of Activities
? Conduct in-house safety inspections. ? Review job procedures and recommend improvements.
